Job summary

The First Group in Dubai seeks a Payroll Specialist to oversee multi-country payroll within the MENA region. This role requires precision, timely processing, and collaboration with Finance and HR.

You will handle end-of-service settlements, prepare accruals for benefits, and support audits while ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies. Fluency in English is essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in accounting or HR.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Experience in payroll or accounting in a 4/5* property.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and control payroll for assigned countries in the MENA region.
• Adhere to payroll timelines and submit reports monthly.
• Process end-of-service settlements for exiting employees.
• Create payroll accruals for benefits like end of service, airfare, leave and bonus.
• Reconcile payroll accounts monthly and coordinate with Finance for pre and post payroll activities.
• Support audits and ensure invoices related to insurance are processed timely.
