Job summary

PRIORITY ONE CATERING - L.L.C -S.P.C is seeking a Payroll Administrator in Abu Dhabi to manage monthly payroll, attendance, overtime, and leave administration with strict confidentiality. The role handles payroll changes, settlements, and final documentation, coordinating with HR and Finance to ensure WPS compliance.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in HR/Accounting or related field and at least 3 years UAE payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with HR systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3+ years UAE payroll and HR operations experience is required.
• Experience handling attendance, overtime, leave administration and employee records.
• Working knowledge of UAE employment and payroll requirements, including WPS.
• Experience maintaining organizational charts and HR reports.
• Strong Excel skills including PivotTables and lookup formulas.
• Experience using HR and payroll systems; Odoo experience is an advantage.
• High accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail.
• Strong numerical, reconciliation and reporting skills.
• Ability to meet payroll deadlines and coordinate with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly payroll using attendance, overtime, leave, and approved salary changes.
• Process salaries, allowances, deductions, incentives, arrears, and other adjustments.
• Verify payroll changes for new joiners, resignations, transfers, promotions, and revisions.
• Reconcile payroll against employee database and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare final settlement calculations and supporting documents for review.
• Coordinate payroll approvals with Head of HR and Finance including WPS requirements.
• Resolve employee payroll queries and maintain confidential payroll records.
• Collect and verify attendance records and timesheets from departments.
• Check overtime submissions against records and approvals.
• Calculate overtime payments and include them in payroll.
• Monitor attendance exceptions and report discrepancies or costs.
• Maintain accurate leave balances and process leave requests.
• Record annual, sick, unpaid leave and other categories.
• Coordinate leave-related payroll adjustments and return dates.
• Report overdue returns and unexplained absences to Head of HR.
• Maintain disciplinary case records confidentially and draft related letters.
• Coordinate investigation documentation and employee responses.
• Process disciplinary outcomes and payroll adjustments after authorization.
• Track actions and follow-up per company procedures.
