Job summary

Parkin Company PJSC in Dubai is seeking a Payroll & Benefits professional to support HR operations and ensure accurate payroll processing and data integrity.

The role involves receiving promotion requests, daily GRP System updates, and coordinating with HR on payroll and benefits reporting. You will monitor attendance systems, answer employee queries, deliver awareness sessions, and uphold confidentiality of sensitive information in a dynamic UAE environment.

Responsibilities

• Receives and verifies promotion requests for submission to the relevant approval committee or final approval.
• Updates the GRP System daily by collecting employee-related documents and completing missing data.
• Handles and prepares various reports related to the Payroll & Benefits function in coordination with the HR team.
• Monitors the Time & Attendance System and proposes improvements to related processes.
• Assists the HR team in resolving complex employee-related issues and provides appropriate recommendations.
• Conducts and delivers awareness sessions for Parkin employees on payroll, benefits, attendance, and employee relations matters.
• Responds to employee queries received by telephone and email and takes appropriate action in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
• Coordinates with the relevant system support team regarding GRP System features, updates, and required enhancements.
• Enhances the methods and processes used to deliver Payroll & Benefits services in line with approved procedures.
• Participates in investigations related to disciplinary matters and recommends appropriate actions.
• Maintains employee confidentiality and protects sensitive payroll and employee-related information.
• Reviews and verifies allowance requests received from employees and updates the GRP System accordingly.
• Reviews, processes, and enters approved promotion and transfer requests in the GRP System.
• Updates new hire information in the GRP System and ensures employee records are accurately maintained.
• Monitors and updates Payroll KPIs, recommends corrective actions when targets are not achieved, and prepares the monthly KPI report.
• Maintains employee files and ensures that all required documents are complete, properly recorded, and securely maintained.
• Prepares HR administrative orders, circulars, and related communications as required.
• Performs any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the direct Line Manager or Head of Department.
