Job summary

UniqPay Technologies is seeking a FinOps Analyst to own the cost side of moving money, scheme fees, provider charges, and the reconciliation of invoices. Build models and dashboards that determine pricing decisions the CEO and CFO rely on, across corridors and providers.

You will own the cost map, track per-corridor costs, and automate processes to provide clear, auditable numbers for leadership and pricing negotiations.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years in financial analysis, payments finance, or FinOps in a payments company, PSP, or bank.
• Domain knowledge: interchange, scheme fees, provider pricing structures, and settlement mechanics.
• Analytical skills: strong with spreadsheets and structured query language; able to build auditable models.
• Rigour: reconciles to the cent and documents why, every time.
• Communication: can translate a fee schedule into a one-page story for the CEO.
• Tools: comfortable with business intelligence platforms and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the cost map and model every fee, including scheme provider banking and FX costs per corridor.
• Reconcile invoices; check invoices against contracted rates and actual volumes and chase discrepancies to resolution.
• Model the unit economics and maintain per-transaction and per-corridor profitability views for leadership.
• Support pricing with cost floors for pricing decisions and renewals.
• Automate the reconciliation process and move away from spreadsheets toward repeatable processes.
• Produce the monthly cost of payments pack with variances explained.
