Job summary

Careers at UAE is looking for a Patient Experience Executive to oversee patient relations programs, manage complaints, and provide support to patients. This role requires fluency in Arabic and at least five years of relevant experience.

As the liaison between patients and the hospital, you will ensure high levels of satisfaction. Prospective candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and a degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field recognized by the Director, MSSD.
• Minimum of five years experience in Patient Relations or Social Work.
• Fluency in writing and speaking Arabic is mandatory.

Job Description

Plans and coordinates with the In-charge as to the activities of the Patient Relations Programs which include patient’s complaints, suggestions, unusual situations, satisfaction rate of the patient.

Responsibilities

1. The Patient Relations Officer serves as liaison between patients and the hospitaland is available whenever her or his assistance is needed.
2. Visits patients on admission and on request any time during working hours.
3. The Patient Relation Officer is responsible for managing the hospital’s patient complaint process.
4. Maintains professional standards of Patient Relations Programs.
5. Handles and follow-up on patient complaints depending on the level of complainant.
6. Handles tours for visitors and guests.
7. Performs other duties as assigned by the Patient Relations Officer In-Charge.
8. Under the supervision of the Head of the Department, performs interpreting/transliterating services of oral or written communications between English and Arabic.
9. Provide interpreting/ transliterating services for patients, employees and other individuals for meetings, interviews, telephone calls, etc. including one to one and group settings.
10. Oversees admission for all inpatient from Emergency.

Qualifications

1. A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Psychology, Social Work or health related acceptable to the Director, MSSD or its equivalent.
2. At least five (5) year of responsible experience in Patient Relations/Medical Relations, and Social Work.
3. Must speak and write Arabic.
4. Excellent public relations skills, people oriented individual, and excellent interpersonal relations skills.
5. Knowledge in computer and statistical work is recommended.
