SearchPlus HR Consultancy in the UAE is seeking a qualified Specialist/Consultant Pathologist with a South African Board qualification to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on diagnostic pathology services and timely reports.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, ensure quality standards, and contribute to patient care. UAE licence eligibility required; strong diagnostic and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Specialist qualification in Pathology
• South African Board qualification in Pathology
• Relevant specialist/consultant-level clinical experience
• UAE medical licence or eligibility to obtain the relevant UAE authority licence
• Strong diagnostic, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret a wide range of pathological examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Analyze tissue, cytology, blood, and other clinical specimens as appropriate to the specialty.
• Provide accurate and timely pathology reports to referring physicians.
• Correlate laboratory findings with clinical information and other diagnostic investigations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and discuss complex cases with treating physicians.
• Ensure appropriate quality control and compliance with laboratory standards.
• Maintain accurate clinical and laboratory records.
• Support clinical governance, patient safety, and infection-control procedures.
• Stay updated with current developments and best practices in pathology.
