Job summary
SearchPlus HR Consultancy is assisting a leading private hospital in the UAE to recruit a Consultant Pathologist (Australian Board). The successful candidate will provide expert pathology services across anatomical and clinical pathology, delivering accurate diagnoses and clinical support.
You will participate in tumor boards, mentor junior staff, lead quality assurance, and drive evidence-based diagnostic protocols while complying with UAE regulations and accreditation standards.
Qualifications
- Board-certified pathologist with Australian Board credentials.
- Extensive experience in histopathology, cytology, and laboratory interpretation.
- Strong clinical communication and ability to mentor staff.
- Experience with multidisciplinary teams and tumor boards.
- Commitment to CME and quality improvement.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert diagnostic pathology across anatomical and clinical disciplines.
- Review histopathology, cytology, hematology, and microbiology results.
- Consult clinicians on diagnostic findings and investigations.
- Participate in tumor boards and clinical case discussions.
- Ensure timely and accurate pathology reports; maintain QA.
- Mentor junior pathologists and lab staff.
- Support CME and research activities.
