Job summary

Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach, part of the Accor hospitality group, is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie with pastry skills to join its culinary team in Dubai. You will prepare pastry items, follow recipes, maintain quality and support daily kitchen operations.

The role involves guiding junior staff, ensuring HACCP compliance and UAE food safety requirements, and delivering consistent presentation across outlets. Previous hotel or international restaurant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts.
• Minimum 2–3 years of kitchen experience.
• Practical pastry preparation skills.
• Familiarity with HACCP and UAE food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Pastry Preparation and Presentation: Prepare pastry items according to approved recipes and kitchen procedures.
• Daily Kitchen Operations: Support the smooth operation of the assigned kitchen section.
• Food Safety and Hygiene: Follow established food safety and hygiene procedures and HACCP requirements.
• Food Cost and Stock Management: Use ingredients efficiently and monitor stock rotation (FIFO).
• Teamwork and Staff Development: Guide junior Commis Chefs and share knowledge.
