Qualifikationen

• Minimum Senior Secondary School certificate.
• 2+ years of experience in culinary field; apprenticeship/industrial training accepted.
• Experience in a culinary environment is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Ensure timely, proper and efficient preparation of products according to recipes and orders.
• Guide and supervise commis II & III to deliver tasks on time and follow instructions.
• Manage production planning, resource and equipment scheduling within the section.
• Try recipes to reduce costs without compromising quality, with supervisor awareness.
• Distribute and plate food items according to menus while obeying hygiene procedures.
• Keep storage, kitchens, chillers and freezers clean and safe.
• Share cost-reduction ideas with seniors and implement approved changes.
• Receive, check and reject ingredients to ensure specification compliance.
• Allocate tasks to Commi II & III and provide feedback on performance.
