Job summary

Accor is seeking a skilled Maintenance Painter in Dubai to paint and decorate guest rooms and common areas, and to collaborate with the maintenance team to keep facilities in top condition.

Requires Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical, a minimum of 2 years in a similar role, and the ability to communicate in English. Fully furnished accommodation and a friendly working environment are provided.

Job Description

• Painting and decorating guest rooms, corridors and shared spaces
• Prepping surfaces and applying paint, wallpaper or finishes
• Keeping your work area tidy and safe
• Reporting any maintenance issues you spot
• Working closely with the maintenance team to keep everything in top shape
• Performs the tasks assigned to him and to the highest standards ensures their implementation while working independently.
• Acts on issues and concerns in his activity field immediately.
• Must be able to control the stocks and other items in his workshop and order more as required.
• Abides to the daily task and ensures timely implementation.
• Checks extra needs of a guest.
• Ensures oneself is thoroughly familiar with the hotel’s emergency procedures and in a state of preparedness for any emergency which may occur.
• Is familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility.
• Other duties as assigned.
