Job summary

Al Tayer Group is seeking an experienced automotive painter to professionally paint customer vehicles in accordance with company standards in Dubai.

The role requires 3 to 5 years of painting experience, proficiency in color blending and masking, and ability to prepare surfaces for refinishing. You will work on various vehicle models and ensure high-quality finishes.

Qualifications

• Matriculation or ITI qualification required.
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a painter.
• Knowledge of automotive spray painting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Collect job orders and materials to paint customer vehicles.
• Prepare damaged area for refinishing panels.
• Carry out masking procedures.
• Prepare spray painting materials and equipment.
• Ensure color blending and matching with vehicle color.
• Apply water-based/base coat refinishing techniques.
• Maintain tools and workplace equipment.
• Perform paint rectification and touch-ups.
• Paint plastic components.
• Polish and detail finished surfaces.
• Follow health and safety procedures.

To carry out effective and efficient painting of customer vehicles as per the company’s standard and specification

Responsibilities

Functional Roles and Responsibilities

• Collect job orders and the necessary materials/ tools to carry out the painting on the customer’s vehicles in accordance with the company’s standard and specification.
• Prepare the damaged area for refinishing the panels.
• Carry out masking procedures
• Prepare spray painting materials and equipment
• Ensure quality color blending and mixing is done for the paint to match the rest of the vehicle color.
• Use appropriate painting technique – water based /base coat for refinishing the panels
• Use and maintain workplace; tools and equipment
• Carry out paint rectification and touch up work
• Prepare and paint plastic components
• Carry out polishing and detailing
• Follow workplace occupational health and safety procedures
