Job summary

Danone MENA is seeking an Overheads Controlling Manager based in Dubai, UAE. The role focuses on organizing resources to ensure timely overheads reporting, payroll verification, and rolling forecasts across the MENA region.

You will drive magnitude reporting, IS/IT cost validation, and cross-functional collaboration with HR to keep People cost data current, while ensuring internal controls and productivity initiatives across the board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent is required.
• 4 years of experience in Finance Controlling/Business Controlling in multinational FMCG.
• Strong communication & presentation skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Payroll approval.
• Monthly overheads dashboard with YTD vs LY and rolling forecast.
• Overheads bridge with building blocks vs LY & LRF.
• Magnitude reporting for schedules in scope (Actual and RF).
• Essbase data upload for RF.
• Cross-functional collaboration with HR to ensure up-to-date people cost data.
• Monthly circulation of T&E report to CODI.
• Managing monthly closing process for overheads.
• PO approvals for non-people costs in scope.
• Yearly work on X-charges for hosted team in Dubai.
• Deep dive on IS/IT cost details to ensure legitimacy of IS/IT charges.
• Identify productivity and crystallize value from initiatives.

Danone MENA is looking for a talented Overheads Controlling Manager - MENA, to be based in Dubai, UAE like you!

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Organize & mobilize resources (people, process, tools) to ensure

• Timely preparation & articulation of Overheads on historical data through a monthly dashboard
• Verification and approval of Payroll on monthly basis
• Accurate Rolling forecast projection as well as reporting in Magnitude/Essbase
• tracking of Balance sheet GL’s under scope to ensure clear picture on monthly basis.
• Value creation through Identifying & tracking productivity
• Secure compliance to Internal control (Dango) within the scope
• Support ad hoc project

• Yearly working on X-charges for hosted team in Dubai relating to other zones.
• Deep dive on IS/IT cost details to ensure legitimacy of IS/IT charges for the CBU
• Constantly look for Productivity and ensure crystallization of value created on the initiative

JOB DIMENSIONS

• Manage and interact with multiple stakeholders (internal and external)

• Technical knowledge (excel macro, Themis (SAP) & Essbase)

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent.
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience / Knowledge Required

• 4 years successful experience in Finance, primarily in Finance Controlling / Business Controlling in Multinational FMCG environment with experience in managing Data & Tools as well as good dashboard animating skills.
• Strong communication & presentation skills
• A high degree of reliability, agility, initiative, resilience, integrity, confidentiality and empathy
• Ability to perform in a cross-functional, volatile, uncertain and multi-cultural environment
• Fluent in English (written and spoken), ideally also knowledge of Arabic
