Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim is seeking a Specialist - Social Compliance to support Occupational Health & Safety compliance across our diverse operations in the UAE. The role involves conducting site assessments, reviewing contractor and supplier compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture across business units.

You will monitor regulations, lead inspections, and manage corrective actions while aligning with ISO 45001 standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in OH&S or related field.
3–5 years of experience in HSE, Occupational Safety, Compliance or similar roles.
Proven experience in site inspections, safety audits and risk assessments.
Strong knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment methods and ISO 45001.
NEBOSH IGC preferred; other HSE certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead OSH compliance assessments across business units, sites, contractors, suppliers and service providers.
Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations and internal standards.
Conduct site inspections and reviews to identify hazards and non-conformance.
Review safety documentation including risk assessments, incident reports and training records.
Manage corrective and preventive actions from audits and inspections.
Analyze safety data and trends to support risk mitigation and improvements.
Prepare compliance reports and management summaries for visibility of risks and remediation progress.
Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen health and safety governance.
