Job summary

Amazon UAE is seeking a Workplace Health and Safety Coordinator to audit vendor accommodations across the UAE. The role focuses on evaluating safety, health and welfare standards, and coordinating corrective actions with third‑party sites.

Frequent travel and strong documentation skills are essential. The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years in health and safety or compliance auditing, with fluency in English and a valid UAE driving license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in workplace health and safety, compliance auditing or a related field.
• Experience in data analysis and metrics reporting.
• Proficiency in English.
• Comfortable with frequent field travel across UAE vendor accommodation sites.
• Valid UAE driving license or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned and ad-hoc vendor accommodation audits in the UAE.
• Apply UAE accommodation requirements during assessments and examine facilities.
• Examine safety standards, health provisions and fire safety.
• Document audit findings accurately in Amazon's internal systems.
• Develop and monitor Corrective Action Plans with vendors.
• Maintain proactive communication with vendors throughout assessments and remediation processes.
