Job summary

GDIT seeks a senior software engineer to develop and maintain AmeriCorps' grants management system, focusing on modernization, interoperability, reusability, security, and privacy. You will collaborate with GDIT and AmeriCorps personnel to capture and achieve requirements.

You will drive excellence in software application development and maintenance, utilizing Java and Oracle to support mission initiatives and ensure reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience.
• Technical training, certification, or degree.
• Proficiency in Java, Oracle, WebLogic, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Experience with PowerShell, Shell scripting, and automation.
• Experience upgrading Java and Java-based web/application frameworks (e.g., Java 8 to 21, TopLink to EclipseLink, Struts 1 to 2).
