Job summary

Remotedxb in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai) seeks an experienced QA Engineer to deliver comprehensive testing for the HIGLAS program, collaborating with technical and functional teams to ensure robust web and API validations.

You will write test plans, data, cases, and automate scripts, and perform web, API, functional, regression, load, and end‑to‑end testing, with strong SQL skills for DB validations. Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in software testing and QA.
• Experience testing Oracle E-Business Suite applications.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation.
• Experience with test automation and VBScript/Java.
• Familiarity with QA tools: QTP/UFT, SOAPUI/Postman.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Work with technical and functional teams to deliver technical testing solutions for the HIGLAS program
• Create and document test plans, test data, test cases, and automated scripts
• Implement tools and techniques supporting robust test automation for web applications and services
• Perform web, API, functional, regression, load, and end-to-end testing
• Write and modify SQL queries for database validations
• Identify, document and track software defects to closure
• Perform root cause analysis of errors and trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of related testing experience
• 5+ years of experience testing Oracle E-Business Suite based applications
• 5+ years of experience with a relational database system (Oracle or SQL Server)
• 5+ years of experience working with MicroFocus/HP ALM
• 3+ years of test automation experience and knowledge of VBScript or Java
• Experience with QTP/UFT, SOAPUI/PostMan, Loadrunner/JMeter
• Experience testing Web forms, Java forms, Web Services, backend services and ETL
• Experience working in an Agile environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Autosys and WebSphere
• Experience working with different file types like X12, XML, CSV, XLS and HTML
