Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Optometry or related field required.
• At least 3+ years of experience as an Optometrist in a medical setting.
• Knowledge of optical equipment, eye care products, and visual testing procedures.
• Valid license from the local authority or board of optometry.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations using diagnostic equipment.
• Prescribe corrective lenses based on patient needs.
• Educate patients on eye-care health practices.
• Diagnose ocular conditions such as glaucoma and cataracts.
• Monitor patient progress over time by noting vision changes.
• Educate patients on proper use of contact lenses or glasses.
