India Abroad in Zayed City, UAE is seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team. The role focuses on comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing common ophthalmic conditions, and prescribing eyeglasses or contact lenses based on test results.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Optometry or Ophthalmology, possess a valid local license, and demonstrate excellent communication skills to educate patients on vision care and lens maintenance. Foreign applicants are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Optometry or Ophthalmology from an accredited institution.
• Valid license from the local Health Board is essential.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are essential.

Responsibilities

• Examine eyes using standard tests and equipment.
• Diagnose ophthalmic conditions such as glaucoma or cataracts.
• Prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses based on examinations.
• Educate patients on vision care and lens care.
• Refer patients to ophthalmologists when necessary.
