Job summary

India Abroad is seeking a passionate Optometrist to join our team in Bani Yas City, UAE. The role involves comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and related optical services.

The ideal candidate holds a Doctor of Optometry degree with active license, strong communication, independence, problem solving, and familiarity with EHR systems; ABO certification is a plus. Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure in optometry or ophthalmology is required.
• ABO certification preferred; experience with corporate settings beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye care services including thorough eye exams.
• Perform refractive assessments and advise on corrective lenses or contact lenses.
• Co-manage laser vision procedures or cataract surgery when applicable.
• Educate patients on proper eye care and monitor progress over time.
