Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City - SSMC in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Consultant Physician to lead and supervise high-quality, evidence-based patient care. The role includes clinical leadership, junior staff supervision, and ongoing professional development.

The position requires aligning with hospital policies, facilitating CME and clinical research, and contributing to quality improvement, audits and safe, holistic patient care within a multidisciplinary team.

Formación

• Tier 1: NLT 2 years relevant experience as a consultant or equivalent post board certification.
• Tier 2: NLT 8 years full-time employment as a Consultant or equivalent post-board certification (includes years in fellowship training) in an internationally accredited institute.
• For UAE Nationals: Clinical Fellowship training may substitute for experience as follows: each year of clinical fellowship counted as two years of clinical experience; applicable to subspecialty fellowship in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK or USA or HAAD accredited programs.

Responsabilidades

• Supports, implements and follows all hospital, departmental and divisional initiatives, policies and procedures.
• Helps lead and implement performance management, including peer review and productivity/utilization reviews.
• Assists with scheduling and supports the Division Chief to ensure adequate medical coverage.
• Leads ward rounds and reassesses inpatients and outpatients.
• Communicates clinical information to patients and families in a timely manner.
• Maintains confidentiality and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Promotes continuous learning, CME participation and clinical research.

Educación

Current national license or equivalent

Certified proof of yearly CME
