Job summary

Al Ghurair is seeking an operator to handle CNC punching and bending, read drawings, and ensure precise setup and quality output on each job.

The role requires reading 3rd Angle projections, using precision instruments, and maintaining safety and organization on site in Dubai. On-the-job training will be provided to develop skills and productivity.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a drawing and understand engineering tolerances.
• Basic English reading/writing and computer literacy are required.
• Experience with CNC punching and bending machines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Select, install, and verify tooling in the machine tool station according to production requirements.
• Load and verify CNC punching and bending programs for accurate operations.
• Configure parameters, perform zero referencing, and set up before production.
• Monitor machine performance to ensure quality output and efficiency.
• Identify and resolve machine malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Read 3rd Angle Projection drawings to fabricate components.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions.
• Follow HSE regulations and maintain a clean, safe workplace.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to junior operators.

Job Description

• Select, install, and verify the correct tooling in the machine tool station according to production requirements.
• Load and verify CNC punching and bending programs to ensure accurate and efficient machine operations.
• Configure machine parameters, perform zero referencing, and complete initial setup before production.
• Continuously monitor machine performance to ensure smooth operation, quality output, and production efficiency.
• Identify and resolve machine malfunctions, breakdowns, and machining errors to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret 3rd Angle Projection mechanical drawings to accurately manufacture components.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify product dimensions and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Follow HSE regulations, safe work practices, and maintain a clean and hazard-free workplace.
• Demonstrate punctuality, integrity, reliability, and a positive attitude in all work activities.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with 5S and company housekeeping standards.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, quality standards, and operational guidelines.
• Work assigned shifts and support other departments whenever required to meet business needs.
• Allocate work based on production schedules, priorities, and manpower availability to achieve daily targets.
• Perform finishing operations and inspect completed parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards.
• Provide on-the-job training, guidance, and mentorship to junior operators to improve skills and productivity.
