DESCRIPTION
To help us maintain our high standards of service, we are seeking an experienced and accomplished Logistics Supervisor to drive both innovation and execution in our busy Transportation network.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the overall, daily management of operational duties and deputizing for the Operations Manager when required.
- Prioritizing and continually improving safety at the delivery station.
- Supervising logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates to ensure shipment deliveries meet and exceed operational KPIs.
- Monitoring performance and coaching team members, partnering with supporting departments to improve logistics processes, and communicating expectations with delivery service providers.
- Interviewing candidates for associate roles.
- Briefing and monitoring the workload of drivers and associates, ensuring administrative tasks are completed accurately.
- Measuring and monitoring workflows and daily metrics to assist with performance tracking and reporting.
- Training and mentoring new associates, and resolving process-related issues as needed.
- Performing physical activities such as pushing carts up to 100 pounds and lifting packages up to 15 kg.
- Working flexible shifts and overtime when required.
- Resource management, including training, absence management, coaching, and productivity monitoring.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in warehouse operations and logistics
- At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office applications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours, and perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching
- Work 40 hours/week with overtime as needed

- Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement
