Job summary

Al-Futtaim Group in Dubai is seeking an Operational & Financial Auditor to join its internal audit function. The role focuses on conducting audits, evaluating controls, and improving efficiency.

You will work with the Audit Manager and business teams to identify risks, document findings, and prepare reports, while supporting management through data analysis, consulting assignments, and fraud investigations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of internal auditing principles, standards, and internal controls.
• Experience in operational and financial auditing.
• Knowledge of risk assessment and control evaluation.
• Experience with data analytics and computer-assisted auditing.
• ACL is an advantage.
• Familiarity with ACL, audit management systems, and electronic audit documentation tools.
• Candidates should have professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIA, CFA.

Responsibilities

• Support the Audit Manager in planning and risk assessment activities.
• Conduct internal audits of financial and operational processes across the business.
• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Prepare clear and professional audit reports covering findings, root causes, risks, and recommendations.
• Discuss preliminary observations with relevant business stakeholders.
• Provide updates on significant findings and emerging risks to the Audit Manager.
• Support management with executive summaries and detailed audit reports.
• Contribute to monthly audit summary reports for senior management.
• Monitor and follow up on implementation of agreed audit recommendations.
• Use data analytics and computer-assisted audit techniques to improve coverage.
