  • Validate the integrity and reliability of information used for financial and operational decision-making.
  • Maintain comprehensive audit working papers that provide clear evidence supporting conclusions and findings.
  • Record audit testing, observations, supporting evidence, and conclusions within the Audit Management System.
  • Discuss preliminary observations with relevant business personnel and obtain factual clarification before final reporting.
  • Escalate significant findings and material control concerns promptly to the Audit Manager.
  • Prepare clear audit observations explaining the issue, underlying risk, root cause, impact, and recommended corrective action.
  • Develop professional audit reports suitable for management and executive review.
  • Assist with engagement-level executive summaries and detailed audit reports.
  • Contribute to monthly audit summaries prepared for senior leadership review.
  • Use computer-assisted audit techniques and data analytics to extend testing across larger transaction populations.
  • Apply ACL and spreadsheet-based analysis to identify anomalies, exceptions, trends, and control weaknesses.
  • Maintain audit work in accordance with applicable International Standards of Internal Audit and Group policies.
  • Perform consulting and advisory assignments requested by management while maintaining appropriate professional independence.
  • Conduct investigations into suspected fraud or irregular activity when assigned.
  • Quantify potential losses and identify process or control failures associated with investigated incidents.
  • Establish relevant facts, responsible parties, and contributing control weaknesses during investigations.
  • Recommend preventive and corrective measures designed to reduce recurrence of fraud or control failures.
  • Follow up on significant observations and management actions where required.
Ideal Profile

The role requires an auditor who can combine professional skepticism with strong commercial awareness and communicate difficult findings constructively. The successful candidate should be comfortable examining complex processes, working with large data sets, interviewing stakeholders, and converting detailed audit evidence into concise management recommendations.

  • Chartered Accountant, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIA, CFA, MBA Finance, or a comparable professional qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years of internal audit experience.
  • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks and accepted auditing standards.
