Job summary

Red Hat is seeking an OpenShift Technical Account Manager (TAM) to work with key customers in the Saudi region. You will provide hands-on technical and architectural guidance for the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, build long-term relationships, and advocate on behalf of customers with Red Hat engineering and product teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a related role, deep OpenShift/Kubernetes knowledge, and strong communication skills to manage complex enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a support, development, engineering, or quality assurance organization.
• Expertise with enterprise cloud solutions like Platform-as-a-Service (OpenShift by Red Hat), containers, Kubernetes, cloud management (Red Hat CloudForms), and IT automation (Ansible Automation Platform by Red Hat).
• Ability to manage and grow existing enterprise customer relationships with proactive, relationship-based support.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; convey complex information clearly.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture and strategic business drivers.
• Ability to manage multiple issues and projects with attention to detail.
• Direct experience with various hardware vendors.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with key business and IT stakeholders and become an expert on a customer’s implementation.
• Perform technical reviews and share knowledge to proactively identify and prevent issues.
• Forewarn customers of changes and mitigation strategies.
• Provide guidance about current and future Red Hat products.
• Troubleshoot issues and drive escalation with Red Hat and customer teams.
• Complete analysis and present periodic reviews of operational performance to leadership.
• Manage customer use cases and maintain clear case documentation.
• Create customer engagement plans and keep environment documentation updated.
• Travel to visit customers and attend events in the region.
• Learn new technologies quickly and engage with engineering and product teams.
