Job summary

Azizi Developments in Dubai is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer for walk-in interviews focused on design, analysis and construction supervision. The role requires collaboration with architectural, MEP and civil teams and ensuring compliance with UAE regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years relevant experience in structural design, analysis and detailing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and structural analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review structural designs, calculations, drawings and technical specifications.
• Perform structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete, steel foundations and other structural systems.
• Coordinate structural designs with architectural, MEP, civil and other engineering disciplines.
• Review structural drawings, shop drawings, design calculations, material submittals and technical documents.
• Ensure structural designs comply with applicable UAE regulations, Dubai Municipality requirements and relevant international standards.
• Assist in developing structural solutions that are safe, economical, practical and suitable for construction.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor structural works and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Identify and resolve structural design and construction-related issues in coordination with consultants and contractors.
• Review RFIs, method statements, inspection requests and technical submissions related to structural works.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, project managers, architects and other stakeholders.
• Monitor structural works and provide technical support during construction.
• Assist with quality control and ensure structural works meet required engineering and safety standards.
• Support value-engineering initiatives to optimize structural design and project costs.
• Maintain accurate records of structural drawings, calculations, revisions, approvals and project documentation.
• Provide technical support during testing, inspection, snagging and project handover activities.
