Job summary

Al-Futtaim Health in Dubai is seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse to join the Outpatient Department at Dubai Festival City. You'll work closely with physicians and the nursing team to deliver safe, efficient patient care in a busy clinical setting.

The role requires DHA eligibility or licence, BLS certification, and strong clinical documentation. Arabic language skills are an advantage; English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing is required.
• DHA licence or DHA eligibility as an Assistant Nurse is mandatory.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Ideally 2+ years' experience in a similar nursing role.
• Experience in OPD, Day Surgery, ambulatory care or similar environment is desirable.
• Strong clinical documentation and computer literacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Support physicians and nursing colleagues during consultations, examinations and procedures.
• Prepare patients for examinations, treatments and procedures.
• Record vital signs and promptly elevate abnormalities to the medical team.
• Assist with ECGs, dressings, wound care and other delegated clinical procedures.
• Support blood collection, specimen collection, blood glucose monitoring and point-of-care testing where appropriate.
• Assist with safe and efficient patient flow through the OPD and Day Surgery Unit.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Follow infection prevention, patient safety and safeguarding procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times.
• Ensure clinical equipment and supplies are appropriately maintained and available.
• Respond appropriately to clinical emergencies and escalations.
