Job summary

Al Futtaim Private Company (LLC) is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support physicians and nursing staff in OPD and Day Surgery settings. The role includes preparing patients, recording vital signs, and assisting with a range of clinical procedures under scope of practice.

Requirements include a Nursing degree or diploma, DHA licence or eligibility, and BLS certification. Ideally 2+ years in a similar setting, with strong English communication and clinical documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• DHA licence or DHA Eligibility as an Assistant Nurse, mandatory.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, mandatory.
• Ideally 2+ years' experience in a similar nursing role, preferably within an accredited healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

• Support physicians and nursing colleagues during consultations, examinations, and procedures.
• Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and escalate abnormalities to the medical team promptly.
• Assist with ECGs, dressings, wound care and other delegated procedures.
• Support blood collection, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing where appropriate.
• Assist with infection prevention and patient safety practices and maintain patient privacy.
