Job summary

Al-Futtaim Health seeks an experienced Assistant Nurse to join the HealthHub Day Surgery Unit in Dubai Festival City. You will support physicians and nursing colleagues in OPD and day surgery, assist with examinations, procedures and patient flow, and help deliver exceptional patient care.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Diploma in Nursing, DHA eligibility/licence, BLS certification, and strong clinical documentation and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• DHA licence or DHA Eligibility as an Assistant Nurse, mandatory.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, mandatory.
• Ideally 2+ years' experience in a similar nursing role.
• Previous experience within OPD, Day Surgery, ambulatory care, medical/surgical or a similar procedural environment would be highly desirable.
• Experience assisting physicians and supporting clinical procedures.
• Knowledge of vital-sign monitoring, infection prevention and patient safety.
• Strong clinical documentation and computer literacy skills.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Arabic language skills would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support physicians and nursing colleagues during consultations, examinations and clinical procedures.
• Prepare patients for examinations, treatments and procedures.
• Perform and record vital signs and promptly escalation abnormalities to the medical team.
• Assist with ECGs, dressings, wound care and other delegated clinical procedures within scope of practice.
• Support blood collection, specimen collection, blood glucose monitoring and point-of-care testing where appropriate.
• Assist with safe and efficient patient flow through the OPD and Day Surgery Unit.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Follow infection prevention, patient safety and safeguarding procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times.
• Ensure clinical equipment and supplies are appropriately maintained and available.
• Respond appropriately to clinical emergencies and escalation concerns to the medical and nursing team.

HealthHub Clinics by Al-Futtaim Health is looking for an experienced and patient-focused Assistant Nurse to join our Outpatient Department (OPD) withinHealthHub,Dubai Festival City.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Nurse who enjoys working in a busy, multidisciplinary clinical environment and is passionate about providing safe, efficient and compassionate patient care.

The successful candidate will work closely with physicians and the nursing team, supporting patients throughout their outpatient and day surgery journey while helping us deliver an excellent patient experience.

What We're Looking For
