Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology in Dubai seeks a caring Shadow Teacher to provide one-to-one academic and social support to a student within the classroom setting. You will work closely with teachers to adapt tasks and monitor progress.

We value patience, clear communication with parents, and a collaborative approach to help the student follow routines, stay engaged, and participate in classroom activities while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant educational qualification.
• Previous experience as Shadow Teacher or Teaching Assistant is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, caring and supportive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual support to the assigned student during classroom activities.
• Assist the student in understanding and completing learning tasks.
• Encourage participation in classroom and school activities.
• Support the student's communication, social interaction and independence.
• Help the student follow classroom routines and instructions.
• Monitor progress and share observations with the class teacher.
• Assist with maintaining the student's focus and engagement.
• Support positive behavior and appropriate classroom conduct.
• Work closely with teachers and parents when required.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student information.
• Follow school policies, safety procedures and safeguarding requirements.
