Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Medical Affairs Manager Oncology Gulf based in Dubai to lead local medical strategy, engage with external experts, and drive scientific exchange. You will partner with cross-functional teams to align medical and commercial objectives, oversee advisory boards, and contribute to regulatory and health authority interactions.

The role requires strong scientific leadership, oncology experience, and fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor or Pharmacy Degree required.
• Industry Medical Affairs experience is a must; Oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead local Medical Strategic Plan for medicines within the assigned therapy area including oncology.
• Identify areas of research interest and develop timely local study protocols to advance scientific understanding of medications.
• Identify advisory board needs and lead their implementation and follow-up.
• Ensure alignment with commercial strategic planning and manage research budget and forecasting.
