Job summary

Al Bayader International in Dubai, UAE is seeking an experienced Thermoforming Operator to lead the setup, operation and maintenance of high-speed thermoforming lines for packaging production. You will optimize mold changes, heating zones, and process parameters to maximize yield and quality.

The role requires 4–6 years of hands-on thermoforming experience, proficiency with roll-fed machines, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or vocational training in plastics processing or mechanical tech.
• 4–6 years of progressive experience operating plastic thermoforming machines.
• Hands-on expertise with roll-fed thermoforming equipment and trim presses.
• Knowledge of thermoforming materials (PET, PP, PS, PVC) and thermal behavior.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and precision measuring skills.
• Legal work eligibility in UAE with on-site availability in Dubai.
• Analytical, problem-solving and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and adjust multi-station thermoforming machines for plastic packaging containers.
• Perform rapid mold changeovers, alignments, heater adjustments and parameter setups.
• Set and control heating zones, vacuum/pressure forming and cycle timings.
• Monitor output quality, wall thickness, trimming, stacking and seal integrity.
• Troubleshoot defects and implement corrective actions.
• Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication of equipment.
• Maintain shift logs, material usage, scrap reports and quality checklists.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior operators and material handlers.
