Job summary

AECOM in Abu Dhabi seeks a Sustainability Engineer (Site) to coordinate with local authorities, contribute to ESG reporting, and develop sustainability plans on an active project. The role demands strong knowledge of Estidama and LEED requirements and excellent communication with stakeholders.

You will implement LEED/ESTIDAMA design requirements during construction, compile audit reports, and provide period updates to clients and authorities, ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Estidama and LEED requirements.
• Excellent communication and coordination with authorities and stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating with local authorities on-site.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with ADM and EAD Authorities to implement local guidelines on site.
• Contribute to ESG reporting and develop plans to reduce GHG emissions and carbon footprint.
• Prepare sustainability plans, including implementation strategies and procurement plans.
• Implement Estidama/LEED design requirements during construction via submittals and drawings.
• Represent Environmental and Sustainability interests in weekly client/authority meetings.
• Prepare Estidama/LEED audit reports for submission to authorities.
• Provide monthly/weekly reports on Estidama/LEED compliance and trackers.
• Coordinate with project traders and subcontractors to ensure project environmental compliance.
