Job summary

Mamoura British Academy in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a Full Time Inclusion Assistant to support students with additional learning needs on-site.

You will work with teachers, the Head of Inclusion and specialists to help students access the curriculum, follow IEPs and develop greater independence in a safe, inclusive environment.

This on-site role requires a Diploma in SEN, fluent English and at least two years of SEN experience, with a commitment to safeguarding and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Diploma in SEN or equivalent qualification.
• Fluent English language skills appropriate to the school curriculum.
• Minimum 2 years' SEN experience in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Support individual students within groups or one-to-one, inside and outside the classroom.
• Help students participate in learning and school activities throughout the day.
• Assist with implementing individual education programmes and IEP goals.
• Monitor student progress and attainment, and support differentiation of learning.
• Contribute to safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusive learning.
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists to support student development.
