Job summary

Sound Star Events LLC on-site Abu Dhabi is seeking a SeniorRigger to lead rigging crews and ensure safe, compliant loads. You will review drawings, supervise crews, and sign off on loads for most events, while performing hands-on rigging tasks.

The role requires 6+ years of professional rigging experience and recognised certifications (ETCP, NRC, IRATA or equivalent), plus strong communication under pressure. The position is heavily on-site in Al Khatim, Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• 6+ years professional rigging.
• Recognised rigging certification (ETCP, NRC, IRATA, or equivalent).
• Hoist control / chain motor experience.
• Strong communicator under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead rigging build on assigned jobs.
• Review drawings and load calcs against on-site conditions.
• Supervise stagehands and freelance riggers.
• Conduct pre-show safety inspections and sign off loads.
• Hands-on rigging work including bridle calculations, motor positioning, hoist control.
