Job summary

S K OVERSEAS HR CONSULTANCY is seeking an experienced Rigging Engineer to develop and oversee detailed rigging plans for complex lifting operations in challenging environments in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, with 13+ years in rigging engineering, and preferred certification (e.g., NCCCO).

Gulf experience and ADNOC exposure are highly regarded. You will assess hazards, select equipment, supervise crews and ensure safety and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 13 years of progressive experience in rigging engineering.
• Certification as a Certified Rigger or Certified Crane Operator (e.g., NCCCO) is desirable.
• Experience in heavy industrial sectors (oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, large-scale construction).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed rigging plans for complex lifting operations.
• Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and mitigation strategies.
• Select appropriate rigging equipment including cranes, hoists, slings and shackles based on load and conditions.
• Supervise and guide rigging crews ensuring adherence to procedures, safety protocols and timelines.
