Job summary

Rotana, Abu Dhabi-based hospitality leader, is seeking passionate kitchen professionals to join the team on-site. You will assist the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I, follow menu specifications, and ensure immaculate hygienic standards while managing stock and food costs.

The role emphasizes maintaining high-quality production across main kitchen and satellite stations, with focus on learning, teamwork, and adherence to recipes and techniques in a leading regional hotel group.

Qualifications

• You should have a professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef training course.
• Experience in quality establishments with good culinary skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I in daily operation and work.
• Work according to the menu specifications by the Chef de Partie.
• Maintain hygienic work areas in compliance with hotel rules.
• Control food stock and food cost in own section.
• Prepare daily mis-en-place and food production in main kitchen or satellites.
• Follow instructions from superiors to complete daily tasks.
• Ensure high standards and stay updated on products, recipes and techniques.
• Coordinate with other sections on cleanliness, wastage and cost control.
