Job summary

Clyde & Co Abu Dhabi invites an Associate to join its Oil & Gas Practice, focusing on non-contentious matters including upstream drilling and oilfield services. The role supports development of oil and gas assets and infrastructure for regional national oil company operators and on key energy projects.

The successful candidate will have PQE, strong academic credentials, and experience drafting complex commercial contracts within energy, projects, or related fields.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years PQE or equivalent.
• Strong academic credentials with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience in non-contentious oil and gas, energy, or projects.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
• Exposure to upstream, drilling, or oilfield services is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Advise on upstream oil and gas projects and commercial arrangements.
• Handle drilling and well services contracts, including rig hire.
• Manage oilfield equipment procurement and supply contracts.
• Review and negotiate EPC, FEED, and PMC contracts.
• Support front-end contracting and procurement for asset development.
