Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company is seeking a Senior Workshop Manager to lead the maintenance of diving equipment offshore, plan and supervise material handling, and ensure safety and quality. This role requires coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and driving continuous improvement in workshop operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Mechatronics preferred).
• 10 years hands-on experience in maintenance of diving equipment, with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory position.
• Five years offshore experience.
• Experience with diving equipment (ROV, Umbilicals, LARS).
• Valid UAE Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise the preparation, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment.
• Lead the workshop team in maintenance activities with safety and operational excellence.
• Review and implement improvements in workshop processes for efficiency.
• Oversee implementation of HSE policies within the workshop.
• Develop and execute maintenance planning strategies and schedules.
• Supervise inspection and testing of equipment for quality and reliability.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet requirements.
• Monitor and manage spare parts inventory for availability and cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare and review technical documentation and drawings.
• Lead lean practices like 5S to improve workshop operations.
• Guide the team in troubleshooting technical challenges.
• Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
