Job summary

Black & Grey HR is seeking a Field Engineer to join our offshore and subsea operations team in Abu Dhabi on a permanent basis. You will supervise offshore installation activities and coordinate with marine crews to ensure safe, compliant execution.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering, 10 years of offshore experience with subsea installations, and valid BOSIET and HUET. Ashore between deployments you’ll support pre-mobilisation engineering and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marine/mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years offshore operations experience including subsea sleeper installation.
• Valid BOSIET and HUET certifications.
• Strong safety, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with offshore/marine verification and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Supervise offshore installation activities including sleepers mattresses risers and other subsea installations.
• Coordinate with marine operations for vessel positioning and equipment deployment.
• Monitor progress to meet productivity targets and ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Provide technical guidance to offshore crews and onshore teams.
• Participate in client meetings and daily progress updates.
• Assist with mobilisation and documentation during onshore periods.
