Job summary
KBR, Inc. is actively seeking a Specialist Rotating Equipment Engineer for an offshore project based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role involves leading design and selection of rotating equipment and ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes. After initial placement, relocation to Spain is planned before returning to Abu Dhabi.
The position requires extensive FEED to commissioning experience on offshore EPC projects and leadership of multi-disciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- Master's Degree is an added advantage and PE certification is preferred.
- 15–18 years in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, Refinery, or Offshore EPC projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and engineering activities related to rotating equipment for offshore facilities.
- Review and approve equipment datasheets, technical specifications, material requisitions, and bid evaluations.
- Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Structural, and Procurement teams.
