Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Specialist Rotating Engineer for an offshore subsea project package in Abu Dhabi.

The role focuses on design, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, reliability, integrity and optimization of rotating equipment across ADNOC Offshore assets, ensuring performance and compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes. You will lead technical investigations, support FEED/EPC phases, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring safe, uninterrupted offshore production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Masters degree is advantageous.
• Chartered Engineer or relevant professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for rotating equipment including gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, pumps, blowers, fans, gearboxes, seals, couplings and bearings.
• Develop equipment specifications, datasheets and procurement packages for projects and modifications.
• Provide technical support during FEED, EPC, commissioning, start-up and operations.
• Monitor reliability and lead RCFA and reliability studies.
• Review vibration, thermography and condition monitoring reports and propose actions.
• Support maintenance teams in troubleshooting and optimize maintenance strategies.
• Participate in technical bid evaluations, vendor documents and FAT/SAT.
