KBR, Inc. in Abu Dhabi seeks a Specialist Rotating Equipment Engineer to lead engineering, design, selection, procurement and technical management of rotating equipment for ADNOC Offshore projects, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards and API/ISO/ASME/IEC codes from FEED to start-up.

The role requires 15–18 years in oil and gas, with lead rotating engineer experience, FEED/Detailed Engineering, EPC and Brownfield work, and strong offshore project execution capabilities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead design and engineering activities for offshore rotating equipment.
• Review datasheets, specifications, material requisitions, and technical bids.
• Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Structural, and Procurement teams.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and conduct technical clarification meetings.
• Support procurement, inspection, FAT, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities.
• Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, and design constructability reviews.
• Monitor engineering schedules and ensure timely delivery of equipment packages.
• Mentor rotating equipment engineers and project staff.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and API/ISO/ASME/IEC codes.
• Resolve technical issues and site queries during execution.

Specialist Rotating Equipment Engineer – Offshore Water Injection Project

Job Purpose

The Specialist Rotating Engineer is responsible for leading the engineering, design, selection, procurement, and technical management of rotating equipment for ADNOC Offshore projects. The role ensures that all rotating equipment complies with ADNOC standards, international codes, project requirements, and reliability objectives throughout the project lifecycle from FEED to commissioning and start-up.

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE; candidate will relocate to Spain office and then return to Abu Dhabi after administrative processes.

• Monitor engineering schedules and ensure timely delivery of rotating equipment packages.
• Mentor and guide rotating equipment engineers and project team members.

Experience

• Minimum 15-18 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, Refinery, or Offshore EPC projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Lead Rotating Engineer role.
• Proven experience in FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, and Brownfield projects.
• Extensive experience working on ADNOC Offshore, ADNOC Gas, Saudi Aramco, QatarEnergy, or other major Middle East energy projects.
• Experience with offshore platforms, gas compression stations, processing facilities, and offshore production complexes is highly preferred.
