Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd is seeking an Installation Analysis Engineer in the UAE to support FEED, detailed design, and analysis tasks across offshore projects. The role requires coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines, procurement, and design teams to ensure safe, efficient and compliant installation solutions.

The successful candidate will perform design calculations, review vendor submittals, and contribute to lessons learned while working under experienced leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 3-8 years of experience in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultant predominantly performing detail design.
• Familiar with the content and application of industry standards, codes and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform FEED, studies, and detailed design engineering, analysis and calculations on complex tasks.
• Prepare clear and accurate detailed design calculations, analyses, and design reports.
• Prioritize and organize own work to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Communicate findings clearly within engineering activities and with stakeholders.
• Interface with disciplines to develop clash-free designs and coordinate with procurement and other departments.
• Review vendor data, submittals, and drawings for compliance with project specs.
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to MDR’s Lessons Learned system.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
