Job summary

NMDC Energy seeks an experienced Barge Auditor to join our offshore compliance team in the UAE. You will plan, coordinate and monitor audit schedules for marine units, verify vessel readiness and ensure adherence to ADNOC/ARAMCO HSE standards, and confirm barge equipment compliance with the latest rules.

You will educate field staff, attend client inspections and drive NCR closeouts and corrective actions. The ideal candidate has a Mechanical Engineering degree with NEBOSH/IOSH certification and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• NEBOSH/IOSH Diploma or an equivalent HSE certification.
• Minimum 6 years' experience in Onshore and Offshore, in Oil & Gas Industry.
• Expert understanding of offshore operations, personnel and equipment.
• Well versed knowledge in ADNOC / ARAMCO HSE standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent planning and organizing skills.
• Leadership potential.
• Ability to operate effectively in a multinational, multicultural work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform barge audits to ensure that marine units engaged on projects meet all contractual requirements in the most cost effective and efficient manner.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor activities of the audit schedule of the barges.
• Ensure that timely readiness of vessels are engaged on projects from a compliance standpoint.
• Educate field personnel on rules and regulations and statutory requirements to guarantee a continued high level of compliance.
• Verify the correct implementation of company lifting standards and quality procedures on-board barges.
• Ensure barge equipment is compliant with latest rules and regulations.
• Attend all client inspections on board the barges and create good working rapport with the client inspectors.
• Inspect barge certificates and ensure all are correctly formatted and up to date.
• Ensure all HSE fixed or mobile equipment’s (LSA /FFA) as per approved safety plan are inspected as per ADNOC HSE / ARAMCO HSE standards.
• Conduct audits on board the vessel and identify the NCRs for close out action.
• Based on audit report related NCRs Root Cause analysis to be generated with relevant departments to avoid recurrence.
• Ensure that the Corrective actions are generated for lessons learned program, the identified Gap Analysis are discussed for foreseen actions and the final Close out is shared to compliance manager for review and acceptance.

Requirements:
