Job summary

NMDC Energy is seeking an experienced professional to oversee offshore construction activities in the UAE. You will coordinate with multiple departments, assist with material qualifications, and support weekly and monthly client reporting.

You will liaise with third-party agencies and marine warranty surveyors, contribute to safety plans, and drive quality through to completion, including variation orders and mobilization planning.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. Engineering degree is required.
• Minimum 5 years of offshore construction experience.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Natural decision maker with good communication.
• Team player; willing to work onshore and offshore.
• Knowledge of personnel and equipment in offshore projects.
• Thorough understanding of offshore operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with all departments for offshore scope of the project.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with all departments within the company for all offshore-related scope of the project.
• Assist OCM in preparing requirement and technical evaluation of offshore materials and expedite the delivery, receipt at stores and approval of MRV of these materials.
• Assist OCM in providing input for weekly and monthly report and attend meetings with client.
• Assist OCM in liaising with third party agency on offshore execution related issues.
• Assist OCM in Liaising with marine warranty surveyors on all issues related to marine / construction aspects of the work such as document review, approval, attendance during load-out, towing and offshore installation.
• Attend weekly meetings with OOD / OCM to discuss progress and areas of concern.
• Insure implementation of the project safety plan and the company HSEMS.
• Insure and enhance quality of the work.
• Initiate the variation orders /claims related to offshore work. Compile the technical input (procedures / engineering documents),and assist CM in assigning offshore durations.
• Prepare mobilization plans, and attend mobilization meetings. Coordinate with, OPE, Barge Superintends, and Field Engineers to ensure that mobilization is through and complete.
