Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Oenologist to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As the Oenologist, you will be responsible for overseeing the production and quality control of our wines. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting regular tasting and analysis of wines to ensure quality and consistency
• Developing and implementing production processes to improve efficiency and maintain high standards
• Collaborating with winemakers to create new blends and products
• Managing inventory and ensuring proper storage conditions for wines
• Monitoring fermentation processes and making necessary adjustments
• Maintaining records of all wine production activities
• Conducting research on new techniques and technologies in winemaking

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Oenology or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience as an Oenologist in a winery or similar setting
• In-depth knowledge of winemaking processes, fermentation, and sensory evaluation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain strict quality control standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure

Preferred

• Experience working with African wines or vineyards
• Knowledge of Arabic language is a plus, but not required
