Job summary

CD+M Lighting Design Group in Dubai seeks an experienced Accountant to manage Odoo-based finance and project accounting. This is not mere bookkeeping; you will control contract values, variations, invoicing, collections, and unbilled work.

You will handle AR/AP, monthly closings, WIP, multi-currency and multi-company accounting, with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax awareness, and payroll (WPS) as applicable.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Odoo accounting experience essential.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in design consultancy/architectural/lighting sectors preferred.
• Strong understanding of project-based accounting, invoicing, WIP/unbilled fees, variations and collections.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project-based accounting and control WIP and unbilled work.
• Process invoicing, collections, and contract variations.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Prepare monthly closings and management reports.
• Ensure UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance.
• Coordinate multi-company and multi-currency accounting.
