CD+M Lighting Design Group is seeking an experienced Accountant for our Dubai office with strong hands-on Odoo Accounting experience. The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of accounting experience and familiarity with project-based financial management in a design consultancy environment.

Responsibilities include project-level accounting, invoicing, collections, and unbilled work, plus AR/AP, monthly closings, and management reporting.

• Manage project-based accounting, contract values, and variations.
• Handle invoicing, collections, and unbilled work.
• Oversee AR/AP, monthly closings and management reporting.
• Ensure UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance.
• Administer payroll accounting and WPS, multi-company/multi-currency entries.
• Perform reconciliations and uphold financial controls.

CD+M Lighting Design Group is looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Dubai office. We are specifically looking for someone with strong hands-on Odoo Accounting experience, minimum 4-6 years of accounting experience, and previous experience within an architectural, engineering, interior design, lighting design, or sub-consultancy/design consultancy firm. Strong understanding of project-based accounting, project invoicing, WIP/unbilled fees, variations and collections. Accounts receivable & payable, monthly closing and management reporting, UAE VAT & Corporate Tax knowledge, payroll accounting & WPS, multi-company and multi-currency accounting, strong reconciliation and financial-control skills.

This is not simply a bookkeeping role. We are looking for someone who understands the financial structure of a project-based design consultancy and can confidently manage Odoo as the company’s financial source of truth. The existing JD specifically places significant emphasis on project-level financial control, including contract values, variations, invoicing, collections and unbilled work.
