Job summary

NOV in Abu Dhabi seeks a seasoned shop-floor leader for the OCTG threading line. You will be the technical lead for CNC threading lathes, own production planning, oversee staffing, and drive OEE improvements while maintaining quality and safety standards.

You will coach machinists, coordinate across cross-functional teams including inspection, QA, HSE, planning, procurement and sales, and ensure delivery against customer requirements while complying with NOV policies and UAE regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering or technical trade qualification.
• 7+ years in OCTG threading with 3+ years supervising a premium connection threading line.

Responsibilities

• Lead CNC threading line operations and optimise processes.
• Drive OEE improvements and monitor machine performance.
• Coordinate production planning and scheduling to meet delivery dates.
• Ensure quality control and non-conformance handling.
• Coach machinists and build multi-skill capabilities.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance (NOV Code of Conduct and UAE regulations).
